“Marisol,” locally owned by Robin Upson, is a landmark on the map of fine dining in North Carolina. Since it opened in 1997, the restaurant has garnered the respect of a faithful clientele as well as high marks from multiple local food critics. The menu, inspired by local and seasonal foods, has set the standard in the Triad for the food connoisseur.
Since 1997, we’ve been considered one of the best restaurants in the state. Our weekly menu may consist of beef, lamb, duck, pork and on occasion veal, rabbit, or ostrich. Our seasonal ion spans from our coast and the rivers of Alaska to the Lochs of Scotland and the Mediterranean Sea.

Marisol has one of the first and only Piano Bars in the Triad with live music by Mike Evans on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Piano Bar, which has a Cuban feel with mahogany colored walls, hardwood floors and beautiful decor, and can be utilized for both parties and corporate events. Our Chef is ready to create a menu for any special occasion.
